Saran Rajendran, Business Development Manager
At Karnavar, Saran Rajendran displays his passion for hospitality as Business Development manager, bringing a superior level of service to Karnavar with his MBA in Hospitality Management from University of Wales, UK. He also completed a management course in the world’s leading hospitality management school – Ecole Hotelier de Lausaunne in Switzerland.
Having been associated with fine chains like Best Western in France, Sheraton, Oberoi and Leela Palace group of hotels in India, Hilton hotels in Florida, USA and London, UK. He brings with him 15 years of international exposure. While sailing with Costa Cruises of Italy, Saran travelled the world and gained global knowledge of customer service management.
His hospitality journey began as a waiter in 2000 and then moved to the bar to understand wine, spirits and cocktails followed by a stint as a restaurant Supervisor in a fine dining restaurant. In 2007, he moved to Florida as a restaurant and bar manager in Hilton Fort Lauderdale. Five years later, he moved to Surrey in UK to work as a Food and Beverage Manager for Hilton Cobham where he was managing the restaurant, bar and events.
In 2014, Saran joined Karnavar, first as the Assistant General Manager, and then rose to his current role as the Business Development Manager working alongside the Head Chef Manoj Karnavar. When it comes to service, Saran aims to make guest satisfaction his number one priority followed by the happiness of his staff. He provides a solid foundation to the staff to offer an excellent quality of customer service.
